Skokie River Nature Preserve Walk

This is a co-sponsored event in partnership with Lake Forest Open Lands
The Skokie River Nature Preserve is Lake Forest Open Lands’ oldest and largest nature preserve. The preserve consists of a mix of woodlands, savannah, prairie, and sedge meadows, with large areas still consisting of virgin prairies of such rarity that the entire holding is now part of the Illinois Nature Preserve system. Come and join the History Center, in partnership with Open Lands, for a private, 90-minute walk through the preserve.
For information on location, parking, and more, visit the Skokie River page HERE.
This event is limited to 20 guests. Registration is required.
