Join us for this evening program as we dig deeper into the history of miniatures with Art of the Miniature Guest Curator Madeline Crispell. This program will feature a lecture on the life and work of Lake Forest's Narcissa Niblack Thorne as well as the history of miniature making in the Chicago area. Following the lecture, attendees will have the opportunity to follow Madeline on a curatorial tour of the new Art of the Miniature exhibit.

Madeline Crispell is a curator and historian whose work focuses on material culture and decorative arts. She is the curator for the University Guild at Northwestern University and is the guest curator of The Art of the Miniature.
