 For more than four decades, Craig Bergmann has been recognized for intertwining design, horticulture, and architecture, establishing a true dialogue between the garden and the architectural site. The Art of Fine Gardening features twenty gardens that span his career and are located in the North Shore of Chicago. Featuring stunning garden images by noted photographer Scott Shigley and texts written by Bergmann, the book describes all the gardens in his own voice—a voice of true experience—offering anecdotes and practical tips to gardeners.
