The 1857 Map of Lake Forest found its permanent home last year at the Newberry Library in Chicago. Learn about the history of this valuable map and the educational value of the maps in the collections at the History Center, The Newberry Library and the Dunn Museum. This program is presented with the Lake Forest Preservation Foundation who was instrumental in the conservation of the 1857 Map and its transit to the Newberry Library.
