Museum Hours
The History Center will be closed from Sunday, November 19 to Monday, November 27 for Thanksgiving. Normal open hours will resume on Tuesday, November 28.
Our open hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10:00am–4:00pm and Saturday 1:00–4:00pm.
Research is by appointment. To schedule a research appointment, please email lstein@lflbhistory.org
Admission to the museum is free. The History Center is a proud member of ROAM and the Museum Travel Alliance

Getting Here
We are located just east of downtown Lake Forest. The parking lot is at the back (south) of the main museum building; from Deerpath, turn right on Washington Road and take the first driveway on the right.
The museum is also easily accessible by Metra; take the Union Pacific North train line to the Lake Forest station. We're just a few blocks east of the station.
