Alice’s Gift of Ragdale: 50 Years of Inspiring Creativity & Preserving History

Through this partnership between the Ragdale Foundation and The History Center of Lake Forest Lake Bluff, we invite visitors to find a deeper connection with the artists who have graced the grounds of Ragdale, to learn about the generative nature of the creative endeavor and to see back to the vision of the Shaw family in gifting this space to generations of artists.

The exhibit is self-guided, with guided tours offered upon request.

Grand opening for this exhibit will be – Saturday September 19th, 1:00PM – 3:00PM

Special Exhibit Hours added for The Lake Forest Preservation Foundation and Ragdale Symposium Weekend – Sunday, October 18, 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM

A panel discussion with current Ragdale artists in residence moderated by Ragdale’s Executive Director Paul Sacaridiz.

Read with Ragdale – Tuesday, November 17, 7:00 – 8:30 PM

A short story read by an actor followed by a literary discussion led by Ann Walters, Ragdale Trustee and professional facilitator of Between the Covers Book Discussions.
