We’re delighted to offer this special event as a culmination of our women’s themed “Twenty in the 20s” programming. Enjoy a catered lunch from Froggy’s and experience the fun of multi-generational conversations as Mark Krisco of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago examines the cyclical nature of women’s fashion.
Mark will explore the ways in which social changes affected the ideas of the 1920s, especially in regard to the more androgynous nature of clothing, and the ways in which this phenomenon reemerged in the 1960s and again among today’s youth, where gender continues to blur borderlines. Perfect for teens and up! Space is limited.
