On Thursday, May 23, Jay Krehbiel will share his knowledge about the history of auctions and what's happening in the industry. The executive chairman of Freeman's | Hindman is an expert in the auction world. He acquired Leslie Hindman Auctioneers and Cowan's Auctions in 2017 to form Hindman Auctions, the Chicago-based firm that merged with Freeman's of Philadelphia this year. Under his leadership as CEO of Hindman Auctions, the business experienced considerable growth, expanding to 16 offices and a team of 165 professionals. 

Jay Krehbiel serves on the Board of Trustees of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he is the Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee, and serves on the School of the Art Institute Board of Governors. He has a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Northwestern University.
